A Day in Winter's Mouth
All suns and moons run to
This day
Frost beats upon the belly of earth
Trees undress
As they catch the sun
This day
Outside the door of earth
Pounds
This day
Hunts for us
Through rivers and streams
This day
Though winter holds it
In its mouth
Roars
